Who we are

Nudge ("we", "us") provides a tool that shows gentle, well-timed popups on websites you own. This policy explains what data we process and your rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA.

Data we collect

Account data: your name and email, used to sign you in and contact you.
Site data: the website URLs you add, detected sections, and the nudge text you configure.
Usage analytics: counts-only events from your installed widget (how often a nudge was shown, engaged, or dismissed). We do not collect visitor identifiers, IP addresses, or personal data of your visitors.
Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store only a customer reference and subscription status, never card numbers.

Cookies

Our app uses only essential cookies required for authentication and security. The embedded widget uses your visitors' browser sessionStorage to avoid repeating a nudge in the same session — this is not shared with us and contains no personal data. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Legal basis

We process account and site data to perform our contract with you, and counts-only analytics under our legitimate interest in providing aggregate performance insights. Transactional emails are sent to operate the service; optional report emails are sent only if you opt in.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time. To exercise any right, or to ask us to delete your account, contact us using the support button in the app or by email. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Retention

We keep account and site data while your account is active. Analytics events are aggregate and retained to power your reports. Delete your account and we remove your personal data promptly.
